The youth field is a very broad field. This section of the Eurodesk website aims to give a clear overview of the situation at European level. It is primarily concerned with those aspects of the youth field, which concern young people and European information.
The information given here aims to inform the reader of these developments and provide sources, which will allow the reader to follow the debates on these key issues at European level.
The Commission's white Paper A New Impetus for European Youth and the consultation processes surrounding it have, indeed, given a new impetus to the field, not least by identifying information as one of the key policy priorities.
To be working with young people and European information at a time when there are such significant developments taking place in the information field at European level is exciting.
